History

• It was the great foresight of Giuseppe Milotta that allowed the birth of our company. At the beginning of the 80’s, starting as a simple truck driver, Giuseppe Milotta understood the great potential of the building industry, he started with a small activity with the collaboration of some drivers to manage the transport of rebar for reinforced concrete from Brescia area to Sicily.
• From that moment the Company will know a path in continuous ascent, over the years the market and the request have changed and Giuseppe Milotta was able to respond to these new needs. The realization of public construction works, the creation of its own internal production of rebar, and of a wood processing department as material for buildings industry, made possible the birth of the three technical offices that allowed the beginning of a wider process of internalization of the production.
• Years go by and Giuseppe Milotta’s vision becomes wider: he wanted to offer a complete service that covers all the production steps of the construction sector.
• In 2003, the hardware department was created. Today Annalisa and Gianfranco, Giuseppe’s sons, together with their spouses, are following father’s steps and they are managing the company to realize father’s dream.
• Subsequently, Milotta family has a new vision, the possibility to open a recovery center of irons and metals, where the waste of the processes is recycled and regenerated in order to produce new raw materials. In spite of the difficult process necessary for the opening of this new department and the painful death of Giuseppe Milotta, who was unable to see its birth, today this center is one of the most important in western Sicily.
• During 2019 Milotta Group opens a new department: metal carpentry. Here we are able to design and manufacture metal structures for construction industry respecting standards of design, quality and safety.
• In 2021 the group made a further step forward by opening the hydraulic department where it is possible to find components for civil and industrial use, photovoltaic panels and electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Today Milotta Group consists of 80 working units and it is growing up continuously. Clients are public authorities, high-level construction and industrial companies and privates. Everybody can find in Milotta Group a valid support for their daily needs.
• Milotta Group has a long history full of great goals as well as dig difficulties that we were able to overcome thanks to the solidity of our family and the valid support of our employees that allowed us to work every day with devotion and determination. Our unity is our strength.
